OB AROI SEAFOOD IS AROI MAK MAK

According to hearsay, Ob Aroi only had four tables 15 years ago. It has 100 now and filled to capacity on the night Bom took me and Daniel there (Lad Phrao Soi 94 in an area called Town In Town; we took a cab there so good luck).
There are two sections: open-air with a bustling canteen feel and air-conditioned filled with seminar chairs. Yes, downright unpretentious and so it should be as the 95 per cent Thai customers are here for nothing else but the fresh seafood.
The menu is delectably reasonable, with crabs going for 350 baht, fish at 290 baht and tom yum varieties at 280 baht. You just know it's the right place to tuck in once you're there.
