Daniel and I searched for and found the lovely old-feel Naj restaurant at Convent Road (it's in between Silom Road and Sathorn Road) and there was a wonderful surprise awaiting us. It was in the evening and we spied a place all lit up just after Naj restaurant. It turns out to be this wonderful little nook of a massage place that is housed in an old wooden building (as long as there is isn't any fire, I guess).
It's a little pricier compared to the 250 Baht Thai massage along Silom Road but I think the ambience of this cul-de-sac more than makes up for it. They offer traditional Thai massage, foot massage and aromatherapy oil massage (one hour 350 Baht; one-and-a-half-hour 500 Baht). The massage rooms are no-frills but very clean and neat.
It's easy to locate them. You can take the BTS to Saladeang Station, exit on the side where Silom Complex is, walk towards Convent road which branches off from Silom Road on the left and you will see this Naj restaurant sign, which is opposite the big BNH Hospital. It's inside this lane.
