GO FISH WITH CROISSANT TAIYAKI @ EM QUARTIER

Heather, her niece and I were at the food hall of EM Quartier (@ Phrom Phong BTS station) when we spotted this super long queue around a particular booth. Turns out they were selling the traditional Japanese fish-shaped cake (taiyaki) filled with red bean paste. But instead of the conventional cake batter, croissant dough is used. Aaah, the trendy food fusion that the Thais are going gaga over is at play here again!

The red bean is sold for 60 baht, the custard 65 baht and the ham and cheese 70 baht.
